I wanted to show that this space had multiple possibilities. With 800 square feet, I had to be cautious not to overcrowd and inevitably take away from the modern and minimalistic feel that I was aiming for. To complement the industrial finishes of the condo - black showcase windows, high ceilings with exposed ductwork, and maple floors and cabinets - I landed on four defined areas. A floating dining room off of the kitchen, an office in the far left corner next to the windows, a living space anchored against the back wall, and the primary tucked into the back with a divider for privacy.
