Split level homes can be challenging to stage. Their layout can feel dated and predictable—once you’ve seen a split level home, you’ve seen them all. I wanted to highlight a couple significant updates: the fresh coat of paint throughout and the newly installed floors downstairs. Upstairs, I favored a more traditional and formal style: linen, pin-tucked hourglass chairs, a glass coffee table with a live-edge wood base, and a pristine white area rug with an intricate floral pattern. The look was stunning! Downstairs, I decided to have a little fun and took a more modern approach: a tweed sofa paired with mid-century box chairs, a wood coffee table with flared legs, and black and gold accents.
