Manor House of West Linn, Inspired Spaces LLC.

Although not technically a manor, this glorious colonial stands apart from its neighboring homes with its grand entrance and large property. A large staircase leading up to the front door makes you feel as though you’re ascending into a historic and private estate. To match the price point and incorporate the more modern finishes of the updated kitchen, I settled on a transitional style with traces of traditional. Each area contained a showcase piece: for the formal living room, a velvet Chesterfield sofa; for the formal dining, a dark, chunky wood table paired with studded, linen upholstered chairs; for the family room, an earthy tweed sofa to match the tile inlay of the fireplace; and for the primary, an arched tufted headboard to accentuate the tray ceilings.

The home itself was outfitted in a more traditional and classic style: crown molding, pristine cherry hardwoods, tray ceilings, large showcase windows, and French doors.
